Marian's Garden Blog

This blog is for my garden. So I can keep track of things I need to remember and won't. And so I can compare this years doings, with next years doings.

Two Fall Orders

Well, it is that time again. All the Daylily places are having their fall sales. Naturally, I could not resist. I need plants to fill up the planters surrounding the deck. So why not more Daylilies!
From Maryotts, I have coming Half Moon Key, June Hudson, Neusa Gergemann, and Storm Over Toledo, plus a bonus of their choice.

And then from Aren't I Pretty Daylilies, I have coming, Bangkok Belle, Lavender with Eyes, Southern Charmer, Surprising Anomaly, Arabian Magic, Baby Blue Eyes, Best Kept Secret, Charolette Legacy, Hugs, Modern Marvel, Mother's Dream, Reason for Treason, Swirling Water, Tremor, Tune the Harp, and Very Berry Ice. Plus a bonus of their choice.

That is probably more than enough for the planters. But this fall I plan on moving a lot of plants, and will need the extras to fill in any holes. Man I am dreading this.... LOL

Arrgh, I forgot to upload the above photo before. This is a baby lizard (Anole) that Kayli caught this afternoon. I left her fingers in the picture to show the scale. This little guy was so cute!!

Well, it has been a long long time since I updated this blog. So now that I finally have my new computer and software all straightened out, I thought it was about time.

This summer has been busy with projects and company. We'll get to the projects in another post. I don't have those pictures ready yet. For now, here are the flower and garden helper pictures.

So there you have it! Not much is blooming in the yard now. A few Daylilies are reblooming, the Zinnia's are going to town. But it's been too warm yet for the Autumn bloomers to start up yet. Hopefully soon, since it is only 27 days till Autumn! Yeah!!
